Lipika was born and raised in New Delhi, India as an urban nomad. While studying architecture and urban design, she infused her interest in built environment, urban spaces, streetscapes, cultural landscapes and people around the world. Inspired by her mother who also paints, she started painting her personal journey while growing up in many unique homes and neighborhoods. Having a dream to see the world, she made her move to Canada in 2015.

Residing in British Columbia, she started working as professional in architecture but continued painting to express her experiences, emotions and perceptions towards life . Her strong intuitive imaginations & curiosity for mysticism falls on canvas taking varied forms. As solo traveler, she loves to explore new cities from street to street, seawall to beaches or sometimes sitting in restaurants where she observes life in actions and micro-expression in others. She believes in Global Citizenship and aspire to place herself as global friend, fostering friendship to everyone transcending geography and political borders.
